Republican leadership at its finest. Old White grey haired men telling his employer whats he’s gonna do. I mean this is the Republican leadership and the way Republicans think. They get voted into a public office to do a job. That means they are hired by us to work. But old white grey haired men, think that getting voted into office means they are the most popular girl in the class. He smiles and thinks he is cute when he says the number one priority is to make President Obama a one term President. He wasn’t hired to make that the number one priority. He dosent even have the mind set that he was hired to do a job, he thinks he is a junior high school girl, you know–the most popular girl. Government lead us out of the Great Depression. The Politicians back then were elected/hired to do a job and they did it. Today, old white grey haired men, want to create strife and gridlock for the country. This great country of ours is resilient and coming out of the great recession despite Republicans efforts. How much further along would the economy be if Republican leadership would do their job? The Republican party seems like a “click ” of junior high school girls. They don’t even have anybody that can stand up to this type of assinine thinking. It is sad when “leadership” plays childish games at the expense of this country of ours. This man is one of the mouth pieces for the Republican party. This man is what people think of when they think of the Republican party. Yet Republicans are scratching their heads about this 2012 election. They are probably hiring focus groups and spending all kinds of money trying to figure out how to market their party and bring people back.
They just don’t get it. We Americans are proud of our country, our work ethic and what America stands for. We don’t want people like this representing us. We don’t want this mans face to be the face of America. We don’t want this mans words to be the words of America. America wasn’t built on this type of thinking. We Americans don’t have this kind of work ethic, and it is embarrassing for all of us that this man holds some type of leadership role in our country. We Americans are proud of our character and integrity of which this man seems lacking in both. And what is even worse, this thinking and behavior is condoned and supported by the Republican party.
It is a sickening feeling to think we as tax payers, pay this mans salary and his wonderful health care benefits. He is “the leadership” of the Republican party and instead of working on fixing this financial mess ( the reverse Ponzi scheme was unraveling at the end of 2008 ), he is trying to make the mess worse. Republicans should get a job in the private sector before going to Washington, then they might understand the employee/employer relationship.
